Therapy is a Process

Hormone Doctor Near Me

At Restorative Health we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care and treatment. We understand that bioidentical hormone replacement therapy can help you recapture your youth.

We also know that it is important to be open and honest with our patients about the process.  That’s why we want to set realistic expectations for the hormone replacement therapy process.

We Start With an Initial Consultation

After submitting your online hormone test or a schedule request, our team will confirm a day and time for your initial consultation. This is a great opportunity for you to get answers to specific questions about available treatment options.

Then We Draw Labs

Once we have answered your questions and you feel confident in our team, we will conduct a blood draw.  This comprehensive lab panel will give our providers and practitioners insight into what dosages may be most appropriate for you.

Next Is a Full Medical History and Physical Exam

By this point, you’ve decided you’d like to move forward with treatment. Our team will sit down with you and conduct a full history and physical.  We will get a fuller understanding of your individual situation and develop a personalized treatment plan.

Your First Implant

This is where our hormone experts will make a small incision in the fatty tissues in the hip or buttock region.

Small compounded pellets are carefully inserted, where they will dissolve over a matter of weeks.

Balance Labs Are Next

We care about our patients health and safety.  No two patients will respond identically to any given dose and / or treatment protocol. That’s why we will run a confirmation lab panel several weeks after your initial implant.

We want to understand how your body is absorbing the implanted pellets and what impact the hormone replacement therapy is having on your quality of life. .

You May Have a Balance Implant

Based on our protocols, in coordination with your individual lab panel and reported quality of life changes, our team may authorize a balance implant.  This will bring your hormone levels closer to our established goal.

Therapy Takes Time

Change will not occur overnight. Your hormone levels are unlikely to peak anytime before 12-14 weeks of implant.  Further, there is a cumulative effect of therapy over the course of a year of treatment.

We strongly recommend that you keep an open line of communication with our team and let us know what we can do to help you achieve your goals.
